It was excellent value for money. There was an excellent choice for breakfast. It was well located for motorists travelling down the A1. We liked being able to get an evening meal (after a long drive) in the on-site restaurant. Note to booking.com, your website incorrectly stated that breakfast wasn’t included and it was. And your website incorrectly said that dinner at the restaurant was set at £25 per person and this was also incorrect, cheaper meals were available and there was no set price.

Exceptionally good value for money. Was surprised at the quality of the hotel for the money we paid. We had a lovely room, very comfortable bed and enjoyable breakfast. We didn't eat dinner. The staff were very courteous and helpful, especially Olivia, who was on reception when we had to contact the hotel after getting lost, causing us to be late in arriving. The hotel was in a great location for our needs - if we had taken the correct road - A1(M) instead of the M1.

Breakfast was excellent and we had two evening meals which were both lovely. The dog was allowed in the bar area so we could eat breakfast and dinner without any issues. The bar staff were especially friendly and helpful as it was the first time travelling with the dog (Jackie), and they made our stay even better. There is a central area by the bar where we could also let the dog go free as is enclosed which was also great (albeit she ran into the bar few times :-)).

Fantastic from start to finish. We stayed for one night half board, breaking up a long journey. It was very easy to find from the A1. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with good quality mattresses. Every single member of staff was helpful, efficient and friendly - they cannot do enough for their guests and are a credit to Holiday Inn. The bar area was modern and fresh, with a relaxing atmosphere. The evening meal was excellent - generous portions and quality ingredients. My two little dogs loved the large hotel grounds and had a nice little walk after a long drive. This will be my go to when travelling from Scotland to Kent to see familiy - have already rebooked.

Sandeep on reception on our arrival was so professional, personable and happy. we’d had a long journey from Aberdeen and we can’t express how welcoming that first contact was for us! had a really great meal in the bar and a lovely pint ! staff at the bar were cheerful and welcoming. The room was lovely and clean. a bit warm for us but then we are from Scotland.

The room was ready when we arrived at 12 which was fantastic since we needed to drop our bags and go out again. The staff showed us to the room and they explained how to get in during the later hours of the night. Very courteous and pleasant. The beds were amazingly confortable and we had a great nights rest. The brekfast was fantastic plenty of options and was all fresh.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in your hotel. Michael on Reception was extremely charming and helpful. Our room was also most acceptable and the meal we had in the restaurant was first class - as were the waiting staff. Overall, we would have no hesitation in both staying there again and/or recommending this hotel to all our friends.

Reception staff - efficient, friendly with smooth quick check in and check out. Room was small but comfy. Excellent value for money. Reception areas clean fresh and well maintained. Bar was cosy with a large screen TV, again staff friendly - quick food service. Food was piping hot, tasty and large portions.

Very friendly staff, clean and a lovely breakfast. They offered help if we needed and advised who was on the desk and when. Breakfast was hot and plenty of it.
